Many old buildings, homesteads and such have been renovated and are now displayed, or open to the public to view. For those of you that have gathered your information on your family genealogy, and are planning a trip to the town/county that your family members once lived, it might be nice to know what is there to make your trip more comfortable, and informative.

*There is a Campground in Vandalia. It is located about 3 miles east off of interstate 70 at exit 68, turn left and go over the overpass and you will see it the left hand side.*

Mulberry Grove has a campground. Mulberry Grove is about 20 minutes west of Vandalia on interstate 70 get off at Mulberry grove exit and turn right, into town. Go North two blocks and turn left follow road about a mile and *it is sitting on you right.*

St. Elmo has a campground also. St. Elmo is located about 15 minutes east of Vandaalia on Interstate 70 Turn Left(North) at St. Elmo Exit and Go to Route 40 then turn Right to Elm Street, Turn North at Elm Street and follow Road pass High School and Turn Left at first road pass the school.Timberline Lake will be about a mile down on the right hand side of the road.
