DANIEL LEE CRUM--- Daniel Lee CRUM, 31 of  308 N. Walnut, St. Elmo, was found dead at

1:55p.m. Thursday, April 28, 1983, in the Kaskaskia River near Vandalia. The body was found

about 150 feet fron the spot where he disappeared into the river 12 days earlier on April 16. Mr.

CRUM was born in Tuscola to Fountain "~Jack"~ CRUM and Verla FINLEY CRUM. He was a

construction worker and member of Laborers Local 695. He married Marsha WEAVER 1982. In

addition to his wife, he is survivied by a stepson, Rayo Dean KING, at home; stepdaughter, Valerie

KING, at home;  two brothers, Russell Dale  and Owen Wallace; three sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Connie) DUCKWITZ , Mrs. John (Jacolyn Kaye)

GRIGGS, and Lori DURBIN. One sister preceded him in death. Funeral

services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1, at May Funeral Home. Burial Followed in Maplewood

Cemetery.
