Beecher City High School-1949
Submitted by: Lou Nell HUTCHISON Bath

My dad, J.J. Hutchison, coonhunted with a man named Vaughn Lilly.  Isn't life strange?  J.J. worked for an oil company that eventually wound up owned by Exxon, but I can't remember who owned it in the '40s.  We lived a mile from the old Miller Grade school in what was known as "Carter Camp" (maybe it was still the Carter Oil Co. at that time) where lots of the oilfield workers lived.
